Windows Support for Small Offices

Most small offices run on Windows: the PCs on the desks, and often a server or shared storage in a cupboard. We look after all of it, so your team can get on with their work.

What we look after

Windows PC repair and upgrades

Slow or faulty machines, memory and storage upgrades, and moving your PCs to Windows 11.

Windows Server setup and maintenance

User accounts, permissions, updates and backups on the server your office relies on.

Domain or workgroup networking

Whether a central sign-in makes sense for your office, and setting it up properly if it does.

File and printer sharing

Shared folders and printers everyone can reach, with the right people able to see the right files.

Network attached storage

A storage box for shared files and local backups, set up, checked and kept up to date.

Remote Desktop and anywhere access

Secure access to office PCs and files from home or on the road, without leaving the door open.

Windows 10 has reached end of support

Microsoft stopped routine support for Windows 10 on 14 October 2025. PCs still running it no longer receive free security updates, unless the business pays for Extended Security Updates. Microsoft sells these for up to three years, and the price rises each year.

For most small offices the better route is Windows 11. Some PCs can be upgraded as they are. Others do not meet the requirements and are better replaced. We check each machine, tell you plainly which is which, and plan the change so nobody loses a working day.

Still on Windows 10? Ask us to check your PCs.

Do you still need a server in the office?

For years many small offices ran Microsoft Small Business Server, which put user accounts, shared files and email in one box. That product has long been discontinued, and most small business email has moved to Microsoft 365.

If your email still runs on an Exchange 2016 or 2019 server, Microsoft stopped supporting it on 14 October 2025 as well. That is worth dealing with soon.

Today the choice is usually between three options: keep a Windows Server on site, move shared files to SharePoint and OneDrive, or run a mix of both. Each has real costs and real benefits. We talk you through them in plain language and help you pick what suits the way you work.

How we work

  1. Look at what you have We list your PCs, any server, your licences and your backups, so we start from facts.
  2. Fix what is urgent Anything unsafe or about to fail gets dealt with first.
  3. Agree a plan Upgrades, replacements and costs are set out before any work starts.
  4. Keep it running On a monthly plan we keep an eye on backups, antivirus and system logs, and deal with problems before they stop you working.

Who this is for

  • Small offices without an in-house IT person
  • Businesses still running Windows 10 or an old server
  • Teams working from home and the office
  • Charities, clinics, nurseries and professional practices

What we need from you

  • A named contact who can make decisions
  • Access to your admin accounts, handled securely
  • A short list of what matters most to you
  • An honest picture of what is not working

Questions we are often asked

Can my PC run Windows 11?

It depends on the processor, a security chip called TPM 2.0 and secure boot. We check each machine and tell you plainly which ones can be upgraded.

Is it worth repairing an old PC?

Sometimes. If a PC is several years old and cannot run Windows 11, replacing it usually makes more sense than repairing it. We will tell you honestly either way.

Do you work on site or remotely?

Most problems can be fixed remotely through a secure remote support session. Onsite visits are part of our Gold plan and can be arranged when a problem needs someone in the room.

What happens to our files if we move off an old server?

We plan the move, copy and check the data, and keep the old server available until everyone is working happily from the new setup.
